At approximately 20:00 hours, Hamilton Fire was alerted for a structure fire at 20 West Kendrick Ave. On the initial dispatch we were advised that the roof was on fire, and Assistant Chief Holcomb arrived shortly after, advising of an active chimney fire. Engine 194, Truck 197, Rescue 195, and Engine 193 all responded and the situation was quickly brought under control.
