As an all day snow event was underway as well as the busy part of the morning in motion, Madison County  911 alerted Hamilton Rescue and SOMAC Ambulance for an MVA with entrapment, Rt 12B South of the Village. Rescue 195 arrived just after the ambulance to find a mid sized car and Tractor Trailer had collided, with the car being dragged down the roadway before both vehicles came to rest. A quick assessment found the driver of the car had succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident and the driver of the truck was shaken up but uninjured. Units assisted State Police for some time at the scene as well as stopping traffic until  the investigation had concluded. Chief Hoham had Hamilton Command.
