Just before 17:00, Hubbardsville, Hamilton and North Brookfield on the automatic box, were alerted for a structure fire on the Albro Rd. Multiple Chiefs reported on the way to the area, while Engine 194, Rescue 195 and Tanker 196 responded. Hamilton Asst .Chief Holcomb was the first to arrive reporting a working fire, heavy fire on the second floor of a 2 story wood frame dwelling, Hubbardsville Engine 201 arrived with the crew pulling 2 pre connects, 1 to the fire room and the other stayed outside with a crew hitting the bulk of the fire from the exterior. Second due Engine, 194 arrived supplying Hubbardsville Engine. Rescue 195's crew along with North Brookfield's manpower assisted with overhaul of the fire room. Fire was confined to one upstairs room, appearing to have started around the exterior wood stove chimney. Units continued to operate for about an hour before returning to service.Other Departments on the box were Earlville, Madison and Sherburne. SOMAC had EMS standby Hubbardsville Asst Chief Bassett had the Command.
